Ministry of Trade Industry and Cooperatives. (MTIC) It has a Business Development and Quality Assurance (BDQA) department under the Directorate of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). It is mandated to provide technical leadership in the formation of policies and regulatory framework for business development and quality assurance | The Department has; Developed training materials that can be used to provide BDS Leading on creating a data base of BDS providers across the country The lead ministry in developing the policy and regulations for BDS provision Through the District Commercial Officers, outreaches are conducted to different businesses across the country by providing trainings. |

Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development (MoGLSD) | Under the Generating Growth Opportunities and Productivity for Women Enterprises (GROW) Project, there is a component of Support for Women Empowerment and Enterprise Development Services This component focuses on the provision of enterprise development services for women through training (technical, life-skills, digital), business advisory services, and enhanced networks for women through platforms that facilitate market linkages and value chain development and seek to change negative social norms that prevent women from engaging in business activities.
